Base Metals – Sales Trader
Location: Mumbai
We are looking for a Sales Trader to grow our base metals business by developing client relationships, generating trading opportunities, and executing transactions across products such as aluminium, copper and zinc.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with corporates, traders and institutional clients.
- Identify client requirements and generate sales and trading opportunities in base metals.
- Provide market updates, pricing and trade ideas to clients.
- Coordinate with the trading desk on pricing, execution, positions and risk limits.
- Grow trading volumes and revenue while ensuring timely trade documentation and compliance.
Ideal profile: Experience in base metals sales or trading, with strong client relationships, market knowledge and an understanding of physical and/or exchange-traded metals.
